1 containerassorted Yumtee dried fruitI used guava, peaches, pears and apricots
1containerYumtee slivered almonds
Melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler. (I created one by putting a heat proof bowl over a pot of simmering water, making sure that the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water. )
Stir chocolate till smooth
Dip the fruit into the melted chocolate halfway and lay flat on parchment paper. Place in the fridge to harden.
To make the chocolate almond mounds- place a heaping tablespoon of slivered almonds (or nut of your choosing) on parchment paper. Spoon melted chocolate on top of the nuts and mix till combined. Place in the fridge to cool.
Store in the fridge and allow to come to room temp before enjoying.
