Truth be told, I am not a big fan of goat cheese. However, I saw this recipe and it looked enticing so I decided to give it a try. If you don’t like the gamy flavor of goat cheese, and are looking for something to balance it out, this recipe is for you. I used flavored goat cheeses (from the Sincerely Brigitte brand) which made it even better. The idea here is to coat the cheese in panko and fry it, this creates a soft interior with a crunchy exterior and makes it really yummy! The honey definitely lends a welcome sweetness that brings home the flavor.
