Flavored Goat Cheese Balls with Drizzled Honey

Truth be told, I am not a big fan of goat cheese. However, I saw this recipe and it looked enticing so I decided to give it a try. If you don’t like the gamy flavor of goat cheese, and are looking for something to balance it out, this recipe is for you. I used flavored goat cheeses (from the Sincerely Brigitte brand) which made it even better. The idea here is to coat the cheese in panko and fry it, this creates a soft interior with a crunchy exterior and makes it really yummy! The honey definitely lends a welcome sweetness that brings home the flavor.
Enjoy!

Instructions
  1. Add enough oil to a pan that will cover the ball and the heat over medium heat to a temperature of 375.
  2. Take each piece of goat cheese and roll in a ball.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the rice flour, egg and club soda. Place the panko in another bowl.
